This page explains, in plain terms, what GAMEDEPOT LAN WAREHOUSE does with the details you share when you book a seat or email us. We keep it short because we keep the data short — a warehouse LAN runs lean, and so does the paperwork behind it.

Who we are

GAMEDEPOT LAN WAREHOUSE is a walk-in and by-booking gaming venue at 152 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia. We sell time on gaming rigs — by the hour, by the block, and by the crew bay. We ship no goods and run no online store, so the only personal information we handle is what you hand us to book a seat or to ask a question. When this page says "we", it means the crew that runs the floor and the inbox.

What we collect

When you use the booking form we record the name and email you type, the date, the room and the block you choose. That is the whole list. We do not ask for payment details or a phone number through this site — you pay for your time at the desk when you roll in, and card handling happens through the terminal there, not on this page.

If you email us directly, we hold whatever you choose to put in that message: your name, your email address, and whatever you wrote. We do not scrape, buy, or enrich that with data from anywhere else. There is no login, no account, and no profile stored against you between visits.

Why we hold it

We use those details for one job: to hold your seat, confirm the booking, and reach you by email if a plan changes — a rig goes down, an overnight fills up, a match night shifts an hour. We may also use your email to answer a question you sent us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your details, we send no marketing blasts you did not ask for, and we run no advertising trackers on this site.

The booking form and spam control

The form on the home page carries a hidden honeypot field that real visitors never see or fill in. If it comes back filled, the message is treated as a bot and dropped. This is a spam check, not a profile — it stores nothing about you and follows you nowhere.

Who else can see it

Your booking and email land in the crew inbox, which is hosted by our email provider under their own security and privacy terms. Beyond that provider, no third party receives your details. We do not run analytics, we embed no social pixels, and nothing on this site reports your visit back to an ad network. The one outside resource the page loads is the heading web font from Google Fonts; loading a font can expose your IP address to that provider as a normal part of fetching the file. How long we keep it

Booking records are cleared on a rolling basis once your visit has passed and there is no live reason to keep them — a pending refund, a disputed charge, a follow-up you asked for. Email threads are kept only as long as they are useful, then cleared out. Ask us any time and we will delete your details sooner, unless we are required to keep a record for a genuine accounting or legal reason.

Keeping it safe

We keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, because the safest record is the one that was never taken. What we do hold sits in the crew inbox behind account passwords and the provider's own protections. No system is perfect, and we make no cast-iron guarantee against every possible breach — but a lean data set is a small target, and we mean to keep it that way.

Children

Younger players are welcome on the floor, but the person making a booking should be an adult or have a parent or guardian's say-so. We do not knowingly collect details from children beyond the name and email needed to hold a seat. If you are a parent and want a record removed, email us and it is gone.

Your rights under Australian law

GAMEDEPOT LAN WAREHOUSE operates in Australia, so your personal information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected. If you believe we have mishandled it, you can raise it with us first and then, if needed, complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC, oaic.gov.au). Changes to this policy
