Refund Policy

What you buy at GAMEDEPOT LAN WAREHOUSE is time on a station — an hour, a haul, an overnight, or a prepaid bundle. This page says plainly when that time comes back to you. No runaround, no restocking games; there is no stock to restock.

What can be refunded

Because we sell time, not goods, a refund here means time or money back on a booking or a prepaid pass — never a returned parcel. There is nothing to post back and no tracking number in play. The rules below cover cancellations, no-shows, faults on our side, and unused prepaid hours.

Cancelling a booking

Cancel at least three hours before your slot and we refund it in full, or move it to any open block that suits you better. Inside three hours the seat is already held and off the board for the next player, so we keep the fee — though we will still shift it to later the same day if a seat is free. Plans change; just tell us as early as you can and we will do what we reasonably can.

No-shows and late arrivals

We hold your seat for fifteen minutes past the start of your block. Roll in within that window and it is yours. Miss it without a heads-up and the seat may go to the next player, and a no-show inside the three-hour window is treated as a used booking. If you are running late, a quick email or call to the desk almost always sorts it.

Prepaid hours

Unused prepaid hours are refundable in full within fourteen days of purchase, as long as none have been played. Once you start drawing down a bundle, we refund the balance of whole unused hours — you only pay for the time you actually spent in a seat. Prepaid hours do not expire mid-session; a bundle is your time to use across visits.

Crew bay bookings

A crew bay is booked and held as one block for the whole squad, so its cancellation runs on the same three-hour line as a single seat. If your numbers drop but the bay still goes ahead, the bay rate stands — you booked the space, not the headcount. Let us know early if the whole thing is off and we will move or refund it under the cancellation rule above.

If the fault is ours

If a station fault ends your session early and no other seat is free to move you to, that time is refunded or credited without question — just tell the desk while it is happening, so we can see it and sort it on the spot. A rig that drops mid-match, a peripheral that quits, a network hiccup on our side: all on us. Faults inside your own game account or your own hardware are outside what we can refund, but we will always try to get you playing again.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing on this page cuts into the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If the time we sold you was not delivered with due care or was not fit for its purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the windows above. These policies sit on top of those rights, not in place of them.

How to ask

Email [email protected] or reply to your booking confirmation with your name, the date, and what happened. Refunds return by the method you paid with, usually within a few working days, with no handling fee. If anything about a charge looks off, raise it — we would rather fix it than leave you wondering.
